Every fact is checked against a public source
A fact on a RankGlobal profile is shown only when a public page states it. Each founded year, team size, budget band and headquarters is stored with the page it came from and the date it was checked. A value nobody can trace is removed rather than guessed, and paying RankGlobal never changes any of it.
How It Works
The process behind this step

One source per fact
Founded year, team size, budget band and headquarters each carry a source: the firm’s own website (with the words that state the fact), its review-platform profile, a company register, or an editor’s note. The database refuses a fact without one.

Reviews link to where they were published
A firm’s review count is the reviews published about it on independent platforms such as Clutch, GoodFirms and G2, plus reviews its clients write on RankGlobal after confirming a work email. Testimonials a firm publishes on its own website are shown separately on its profile and are not counted or rated, because the firm chose them.

Skills come from the firm’s own pages
A skill is marked as direct evidence only when the firm names it on its own website. The profile links that page and quotes the words, so anyone can check the claim.

Machine-read facts need a check
Facts read automatically from website text must quote words that state them plainly. Team sizes and budgets read from text are confirmed by a person, because numbers on a page often describe clients, users or projects rather than the firm.

Unreadable sites go to an editor
When a firm’s website cannot be read or matched, its profile stays listed without ranked skills and is queued for an editor instead of being filled with guesses.

An audit gates every release
Before data reaches the live site, an automated audit checks every rule above. A single failing rule stops the release until it is fixed.

Commercial activity is irrelevant
Applying, sponsoring, upgrading a listing or contacting RankGlobal never changes a firm’s facts, review count or evidence.
