Independent AI provider intelligence.

What RankGlobal is

RankGlobal is an independent directory and ranking of AI service providers, based in Chicago, IL. It lists companies that build and deliver AI services: consultancies, development studios, agencies and specialist product teams. Each company has a profile mapped to a shared taxonomy of AI categories, skills, industries and sub-industries, so a buyer can see who works on what, for which sectors, and with what client evidence.

Where profile data comes from

Company facts such as location, founding year, team size, typical budget and contact details come from each company’s own website and public company profiles. Where a company does not state a figure, the profile says “Not disclosed”; nothing is estimated. Client reviews come from public review platforms, and a review taken from one links back to the original. Reviews that cannot be traced to a client are not published.

How rankings are ordered

Every ranking uses one rule, the specialist score: how focused a firm is on the area and how much of it its own website shows, then client ratings and reviews on a capped scale, so a deep specialist can outrank a much larger generalist. Each ranking shows when it was last updated, and its order changes only when the underlying data does. The full method, from sourcing to verification, is on the research methodology page.

Sponsorship

Placement in a ranking cannot be bought. Sponsored placements are labelled (“Spotlight” on the homepage, “Sponsored” elsewhere), sit outside the numbered rankings, and never change a company’s rating, reviews or position. Sponsors are excluded from every ranking. The trust standards set out the full policy.

Who maintains it

Profiles, rankings and reports are researched and maintained by the RankGlobal Research Team, based in Chicago, IL. The State of AI Services report summarises the whole directory. If a profile is wrong or out of date, the company or anyone else can request a correction.
