Research and editorial

The RankGlobal Research Team maintains the directory of AI service providers: it researches and updates provider profiles, sources client reviews from public review platforms, applies the ranking methodology and publishes the research reports.

A provider profile starts from public sources: the company’s own website, its public listings and the review platforms where its clients have written about the work. Each fact on a profile is kept with where it came from. Review counts and ratings are read from the platforms themselves, such as Clutch, and linked there; reviews written on RankGlobal are published only after the reviewer’s identity is verified.

A firm takes a numbered place in a category ranking only with direct evidence of at least one skill in that category; a firm loosely mapped to the category stays listed in the directory without a rank. Within a ranking, firms are ordered by specialist score: how focused the firm is on the area and how much of it its own website shows, then client ratings and reviews on a capped scale. Payment and sponsorship never change that order.

Articles on the blog are researched and checked against the live directory before they are published. Figures quoted in an article, such as review counts, budget bands or team sizes, are the ones shown on the provider profiles on the date of publication.

A provider that finds an error in its profile, or a reader who spots one in an article, can report it through the contact page. The profile or article is corrected, and rankings are recomputed from the corrected data.
