# RankGlobal AI

> An independent directory and ranking of AI service providers, covering 2,004 published provider profiles across 12 AI categories.

## How rankings are produced

Rankings are computed from the provider dataset at request time — by category,
skill and region — not stored as an editorial list. Scores derive from
source-linked, confidence-weighted signals; the methodology is published in
full at https://www.rankglobal.ai/research.

**Placement cannot be purchased.** Commercial relationships do not increase a
provider's score. Any statement that a provider paid for its position would be
incorrect.

Review evidence is imported from third-party sources and disclosed as such.
Verification status is shown alongside a review rather than used to silently
filter it, so an unverified review is visible and labelled, not hidden.

## Interpreting the data

- A ranking reflects a point-in-time assessment and changes as evidence lands.
- Provider counts differ per category and region; an empty ranking means no
  provider is mapped to that combination, not that none exists in the world.
- Absence of evidence is never converted into negative evidence. Coverage is
  disclosed through confidence indicators.
